Terms and Conditions of Participation in the 18V Battery Promotion

By participating in the Promotion, the participant accepts these Terms & Conditions of Participation.

  1. Organiser
    1. The Promotion is being hosted by Festool GmbH, Wertstr. 20, 73240 Wendlingen, Germany, (“Organiser”).
    2. The Promotion is being implemented by the agency commissioned by the Organiser REINBOLDROST GmbH & Co. KG, Joseph-Beuys-Allee 6, 53113 Bonn, Germany (“Agency”).
  2. Eligibility
    1. All natural persons who have reached full legal age as well as legal persons residing in or with their place of business in one of the following countries shall be eligible to participate: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
    2. Persons residing in or with their place of business in any other region or country are excluded from participation. In particular, this applies to: All French overseas territories, Spanish, Portuguese and British islands, Greece, Iceland, Malta and Cyprus.
    3. Also excluded from the Promotion are: Employees of the Organiser, dealers of the Organiser as well as the dealer’s employees, executives and representatives of the Organiser and its dealers.
  3. Subject of the Promotion
    1. End customers who purchase a promotional product (see Point 4) within the promotional period from 11th May 2026 to 31st July 2026 in the Festool online shop or from an authorised Festool dealer in the Area of Participation and register for the Promotion by 31st August 2026 at the latest shall receive a free battery pack (“Free Battery Pack”) for every 18V cordless device (“Promotional Product”) purchased.
    2. The Free Battery Pack shall be allocated automatically by the Organiser based on the respective purchased Promotional Product. A free choice or change of the Free Battery Pack by the Participant is not possible. The allocation of the respective battery packs to the Promotional Products can be viewed on the microsite (at www.festool.ie/campaigns/microsites/bonus-weeks-battery) for the Promotion.
    3. If the originally allocated Free Battery Pack is no longer available, the Organiser reserves the right to send an alternative battery pack of equal value. In this case, there shall be no claim to the originally allocated battery pack.
    4. A maximum of ten (10) Promotional Products per person can be registered for the Promotion. The Free Battery Pack can only be claimed once per Promotional Product as part of this Promotion. This Promotion includes all Festool 18V battery promotions being implemented in parallel in the Area of Participation, independent of the specific Organiser. A comparison of e-mail addresses, duplicate addresses and verification numbers shall be carried out. A maximum of ten (10) people per household/company shall be permitted to participate in the Promotion. Multiple participations which violate these Terms & Conditions of Participation along with any other manipulative measures will lead to the participant's immediate exclusion from the Promotion.
  4. Promotional Products
    Free Battery Packs shall be shipped for the products listed in the list of Promotional Products in accordance with the regulations of these Terms and Conditions of Participation
    (available at www.festool.ie/campaigns/microsites/bonus-weeks-battery). Only new goods qualify as Promotional Products; used products are excluded from the Promotion.
  5. Participating in the Promotion
    1. As a prerequisite for participating in the Promotion, the end customer must have completely and properly disclosed and made available the following information within a current MyFestool account in their name by 31st August 2026:
      • Name and address of the participant
      • E-mail address of the participant
      • Date of purchase of the Promotional Product
      • Verification numbers (part no. and serial no.) of the Promotional Product
      • Photo of the type plate of the Promotional Product
      • Scan or photograph of an invoice or similar proof of purchase, on which the purchasing date and the product can be clearly identified
      • Specification of the dealer from which the promotional product was purchased
      • Delivery address for the Free Battery Pack if this differs from the address specified by the participant
    2. During registration for the Promotion, the respective Promotional Product will automatically be registered for the Warranty all-inclusive. You can unsubscribe from this warranty registration retrospectively at any time. By registering online, you are also accepting the warranty terms and conditions.
    3. A sales platform certificate or a receipt do not provide sufficient proof of purchase. Furthermore, a proof of purchase must not have been issued to anybody other than the participant.
    4. If handing over the Free Battery Pack represents a taxable transaction, the obligation to pay taxes shall remain with the recipient (end customer).
    5. After the participation documents have been received, the participant shall receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail from Festool or the Agency as well as further status messages during implementation of the Promotion. Festool and the Agency commissioned by Festool for implementation shall be authorised to contact the participant by e-mail or letter if there are any queries regarding the implementation of the Promotion and to demand further evidence in case of justified doubt.
    6. There shall be no entitlement to participate should the information not be submitted on time, be illegible, incomplete or be otherwise incorrect.
    7. If participation is refused, the participant may participate in the Promotion again after submission of a corrected invoice. However, if the Free Battery Pack from the first submission is no longer available in the meantime, any claim to this Free Battery Pack shall expire.
    8. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants and exclude them from future participation in the Promotion if they provide incorrect or incomplete details, fail to submit the requested evidence on time in cases of justified doubt, manipulate or try to manipulate the participation process and/or culpably infringe the rules of participation and/or otherwise attempt to obtain a service by fraud in an unfair and/or dishonest manner. In the case that a participant is justifiably excluded, the Organiser is entitled – also subsequently – to request that a Free Battery Pack that has already been handed over is returned.
  6. Shipment of the Free Battery Pack
    1. The claim to a Free Battery Pack as well as the shipping to the delivery address specified by the participant, shall be checked by the Agency and the Organiser.
    2. The Free Battery Pack shall be shipped no later than six (6) weeks after the complete participation documents, which must have been submitted on time and in the correct form, have been received.
    3. If the delivery address information is incorrect, there shall be no claim to renewed shipping. If the delivery fails, a single further delivery attempt shall be made. If this too fails, the claim to the Free Battery Pack shall expire. A delivery is deemed to have failed if:
      • no successful delivery is possible using the specified address details,
      • a request for notification of a current delivery address remains unanswered after two weeks.
      If the address details provided by the participant are incomplete or incorrect or if the delivery is not possible for other reasons for which the participant is responsible, the claim to the bonus shall expire. In such cases, the Organiser can demand the submission of a personal identification card or passport in order to verify the participant’s identity. The same applies in the event of justified suspicion of fraudulent attempts to gain a Free Battery Pack. The claim shall remain temporarily suspended until submission of corresponding evidence requested by the Organiser or the Agency.
    4. The claim to the Free Battery Pack is not transferable. A cash payment or payment in assets as well as an exchange or replacement of the free Battery Pack shall be excluded.
    5. A claim to the Free Battery Pack shall lapse if is subsequently transpires that false information as provided or the Battery Pack was obtained in an improper manner.
      Any benefits already granted must be reimbursed in this case.
  7. Obligation to refund where the product is returned
    If a Promotional Product that has already been registered to the Promotion is returned within six months, there shall therefore be no claim to the Free Battery Pack. Any benefits already granted must be reimbursed.
  8. Data privacy
    1. The personal details to be specified in the context of the 18V Battery Promotion shall be processed by the Organiser and the agency. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1a) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).   9. Other
    1. The Organiser reserves the right to change, extend or prematurely end this Promotion without prior notice.
    2. These Terms & Conditions of Participation are subject to national law at the Organiser's registered office to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes shall be the location of the Organiser's registered office.
    3. Should one or several provisions of these Terms & Conditions of Participation be or become ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected thereby.
