The perfect combination of battery pack and EC-TEC motor ensures endurance similar to that of a mains-powered tool, consequently achieving longer running times as charging times. Equipped with Bluetooth®, a paired mobile dust extractor starts automatically when the cordless tool is switched on. Additionally, when used in conjunction with the Festool app, you can find detailed information about the charge status and operating data, such as the temperature or charge cycles. And, of course, it is fully covered by Festool Service.

With the Bluetooth® battery pack, a paired mobile dust extractor is automatically started up when the cordless sander is switched on – so you can make use of all the advantages of low-dust work. Moreover, with the Festool app, you can view detailed information about the battery pack's charge status at anytime, retrieve operating data such as temperature or charge cycles, and install software updates to work with the latest tool functions at all times.
The perfect combination of the powerful 18 V Ergo battery pack with the brushless EC-TEC motor ensures constant sanding and power similar to that of a mains-powered tool.
The Festool battery packs and chargers are also fully covered within the scope of warranty all-inclusive, giving you peace of mind for your day-to-day work. A full repair is completely free of charge in the first three years – this also applies for battery packs and chargers. This allows you to concentrate on what's most important: Your work.
The battery pack communicates via Bluetooth® with the Bluetooth® module of the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor (can be retrofitted to the CT 26/36/48 as an accessory, directly integrated into the CT MINI I and MIDI I) and starts the mobile dust extractor automatically when the cordless sander is switched on.

For all applications which require an even longer operating performance, the 18 V battery pack can be replaced with the plug it-mains adapter (included in the set and available as an accessory). This creates a mains-powered machine with an unlimited running time in combination with the plug it-cable – ideal in conjunction with a Festool mobile dust extractor.
