Extending and shortening the PLANEX long-reach sander

The PLANEX long-reach sander can be extended and shortened in a flash.

You can attach up to two extensions for an adjustable working length of 1.2 m to 2.1 m.

  • Assembling the PLANEX

    Push the end of the sanding head tube into the handle until a click is heard.

  • Assembling the PLANEX

    Turn the green control lever until it reaches the stop.

    If you are working on high ceilings, you can use up to two extensions. To do so, follow steps 1 and 2.

  • Disassembling the PLANEX

    Open the green control lever.

  • Disassembling the PLANEX

    Continue turning the control lever until it reaches the stop and hold it in this position. Then pull the two tube ends away from each other.
